About Tom Kraemer, principal, Kraemer, Inc.

Tom Kraemer has been a communications professional for over twenty years, producing and providing art direction for numerous high-profile programs for organizations such as Korn/Ferry International; PricewaterhouseCoopers (and formerly Coopers & Lybrand, where he worked on staff from 1987-1993 and served as National Art Director); Arthur Andersen; Marsh, Inc.; Swatch; IBM; Shearman & Sterling and Morgan Lewis & Bockius. He also has enjoyed putting big ideas to work for smaller organizations, from venture capitalists to software companies.
As principal of Kraemer Inc, he excels at applying his entrepreneurial vision and design expertise to help clients maximize their business opportunities. He draws on these insights and his extensive business experience to translate client objectives onto tangible results. “Design is simple,” he explains, “business is challenging. That’s why I think it’s important to focus on a client’s core competency before doing anything. All design should start from the question: “How can you create a positive impact on business revenue through a communication vehicle?”
Automating business processes though electronic media is another area Tom has experience in and is the cornerstone in his approach to consulting with clients. As a result he has created a number of applications that add value to brand and business development.
After he attended Lafayette College, Tom apprenticed at the master print studio founded by Garner Tullis in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood whose roster of artists include Helen Frankenthaler, Richard Diebenkorn, Sam Francis, and Robert Ryman to name a few.
