Bunker Buster Campaign Union of Concerned Scientists Kraemer Inc. worked with Dr. Robert Nelson, Senior Scientist, Global Security Program at Princeton University in conjunction with UCS to illustrate/animate the mechanics and probable resulting post detonation after effects of the Robust Nuclear Earth Penetrator (RNEP) a nuclear weapon. The animation showed how the RNEP would burrow a few meters into rock or concrete before exploding and thus generating a powerful underground shock wave. Its hypothetical targets are deeply buried command bunkers or underground storage sites containing chemical or biological agents. Kraemer Inc’s. animation was featured on CNN, stills were pulled from the animation and shown to the U.S. Congress. Smoking BabyCampaign Union of Concerned Scientists Kraemer Inc. was engaged by UCS to create a campaign optimized for viral tendencies. The ad caught on in the media and was covered in The New York Times entitled “A New Automaker Mantra: Emissions? What Emissions?” A version of the ad also appeared as part of an article in congressional journals such as Roll Call, Congress Daily and Congressional Quarterly and it had received substantial coverage in The New York Times, Ad Age and Fast Company. Hybrid Center Website Union of Concerned Scientists Kraemer Inc. design and developed a UCS Hybrid Center website. The website was subsequently selected from more than 5,500 entries The Webby Awards, the leading international tribute for innovative websites, announced that www.hybridcenter.org — is the Best Website of 2006 in the Guides/Rating/Reviews category. Tom Kraemer, president of Kraemer Inc., led the winning web design team. Winners will be honored at The 10th Annual Webby Awards in New York City on June 12th. “The Webby Awards honors the outstanding websites that are setting the standards for the internet.The Webby Awards, presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, evaluates websites based on six criteria: content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience. |
